Hi from the Emerald Isle
Hi All,
just to say that we ( wife & me )are going to LOS last 2 week's in Oct 2007 so lot's of info here for ME  to have a fab time thank's to all you guy's here.Bangkok 4 nt's, Karon Beach 7 nt's & 4 nt's Kuala Lumpur. Me? Irish 53 & you know who's 51. liveing and working in Ireland. Bannerman. ( Irish guy's will know where i live  )There are no stranger's here, just friend's who have not yet met. Welcome to the forum Bannerman. Lots of Irish guys signing up this week hehe.
Plenty of good info for you here to read up. Just a thought, if you do have a question,try using the Search function at the top of the main page. It should help you find a thread or two to help you.

Hope you and the missus have a great Holiday. I was over there myself for a month last sept. I had a ball! Phuket is very beautiful and theres lots to do... Have a good trip.

It would probably be a wee bit cheaper to fly from London and make your own way there but I don't think there was a big difference in price at the time. My bags went straight through to BKK too. The Dynasty Inn Grande in Bangkok is a good hotel... I stayed there for about a week... Very hard to find fault with it. Went to Miami in Sept with BA from Snn via Lhr and found them good. When booking flt's also booked hotel, got a good deal and BA phoned after hotel check inn to find out if all was ok. You don't have to take the travel insurance offered when you book your fare online. You can book it before your flight from anywhere,even buy it at the airport in Boots the Chemist if you must. Its not compulsory to buy travel agents insurance.
