A quick hello from a newbie from the Emerald Isle (tis only lashing rain here at the moment lads...and cold too!). In the planning stages of an expedition to Phuket at the mo...and just tought that Id say hello!

Great forum and lots of good advice and info...keep up the good work chaps.

I am planning my next trip too...

If you make it to Patong check out the Mai Thai Bar on Soi Eric (Another great spot!).

Plenty of fellow Irishmen have made the trip to this tropical playboy paradise.

Do some research and most of the basic answers are in the archives.

The Thai Embassy is on Harcourt Street not far from CopperHead Jacks nightclub.They only do postal applications but are good for a Visa.

G'day Aron, hang around here for some good shi't. I did prior to my trip, and it helped tremendously, especially being forwarned....pity I didn't heed the Timesahre advice, though.
