Hi there people,
Well first of all I do a little pt time teaching, and also some internet sales, and I wrote a little book in Thai and German, wonder if you know it? (Thai English bar guide) yep it was me! I'm a tadge embaressed to admit that I've never been to Phuket:-( but I used to hang out in the northeast of Thailand iisaan, northern provinces and central Thailand, but that was many moons ago, and now I don't get the chance to travel much due to work and gf comitments:-( When i used to travel around Thailand, I enjoyed soi cowboy, the nana, in bkk and you wouldn't believe some of the sleazy upcountry knocking shops you can stumble upon :-) These days alas I'm well out of touch with that scene, though I do manage an odd drink in the nana and I mean the odd drink.

Welcome to the board. Look forward to your contributions (and I'd like to hear some more about those up-country knocking shops - perhaps we need to swap notes).

Hi Mark
Welcome to the forum
So you wrote the book that is in my bedside cabinet Its a good read I have to say.
Afraid you better look for another avatar. That one of yours was too explicit for the forum . No nudity allowed

OOps sorry about the avatar guy's,
I'm glad you like the book which I wrote early in 2003. Unfortunately I had to tone the book down a little :-( because my publisher said that I couldn't get away with some of the stuff I wrote, so it had to be more innuendo rather than straight forward an direct. For example........ (koong pom yai I've got a big one!) was ok, but my original (ongachaat koong pom yai maak) wasn't, because I said the word penis lol. Funny Thailand in it! Girls can dance half naked on the stage, yet I couldn't get away with a phrase with penis in it!
Looking back now I could have made it a whole lot better and after it was published I kept saying to myself why, didn't you put this phrase or that phrase in the book? Still hopefully one day it could be updated, really depends on the publisher, but I'm happy it's doing well and ppl like it :-) p/s what do the bar girls think about it?
