hehe, and have you noticed after Songkran is finished, the Thais collect up the abandoned water guns/pistols ready to sell them again the next year.

Spent last Songkran around Udon, took the family around in the back of the pick-up, stole water from government buildings and generally had the time of my life - day it finished went to Laos - no-one told me it went on a day longer, so with no 'protection' went into having buckets of water and perma dye water bags thrown but all good fun surrounded by people who were enjoying themselves, would recommend it to anyone.

I was going to post the same thing but you beat me to it. Do you think maybe you are spending too much time on the board?
Last year I drove the motorbike over to Big C, but their selection wasn't all that great to be honest. By the way, my local Watsons here in Bangkok already has water guns for sale. Man, seems like Christmas comes earlier every year.
I will be in Patong for Songkran. Cheers, Robaht

Lol.....that would be a classic!!
Yes Roger I'm arriving on the 2nd April for 2 weeks and can't wait. I have just looked through the arrivals dates and see you are there over the same period plus a few days either side. Looking forward to meeting you and the gang for a chin wag and a few Singhas. Hope we can make it down to Surin again too. I have sent Werwolf a PM to update my dates cos I had to change them (sorry Werwolf), been up to my neck these last couple of months and havn't been on the board. See ya soon and have a good trip over during the week.
