If you are looking for company, best head to the MTB which is sort of the BMs HQ. MTB is to be found in Soi Eric, off Bangla Rd.
I hope you understand that

Hi Thomas,
I'm new here as well. I've never been to Thailand but will be there at Easter for 2 weeks only.
Not sure I would still be walking after 6 weeks!
Have a great time,
Charles.

Make sure you pop into the MTB Charles, always a good welcome from Nicke and an introduction to other BMs visiting. I might see you there for a beer

Thanks Dawsey,
Before I found this board a few people suggested Bangkok and Pattaya as the first places to see so have booked them now.
Will simply have to return ASAP for another trip - that is assuming I enjoy the first one!
JetStar (a Qantas subsiduary) now fly direct to Phuket from Sydney - just looked at the fares and the are quite cheap.
I'm told many guys plan their next trip to LOS on the plane on the way home!
Thanks,
Charles.

I'm sure you will be back Charles. Bangkok/Pattaya and Phuket are very different, so if this trip is not quite what you were hoping, maybe Phuket will be.
That is one thing that keeps the blues away. Book the next trip ASAP so you have something to look forward to between trips.
