LOS blues

As you se, I'm not a "postaholic" , but I read the forum almost every day so maybe I am. Thank you all for the good info. I had my first trip one year ago. It was fantastic. I did most of the right things and some of the wrong things. But when I look back, I think even the wrong things are right because I learned from it. To my surprise the moment I booked my next trip (April), the LOS blues disappeared. Not a problem, but does that mean that the only way to cure the blues is to go back?

i'm afraid yes - the only cure against los-blues is to book the next trip and to count down the days...

That's it Buddy. Book your next trip and it will fade away! Many BM's told me before and they are right. Mine is almost faded as I fly out on March 2nd...

I think April is a nice time to come down.
Not to hot (well in May perhaps), and shouldn't be difficult to find accomodations either.

Booking too far ahead and counting down the days isnt fun , especially if its been about 5-6 months , take it from me

Counting down the days gets frustrating the closer you get .. 11 more days to go !

Don't you hv anything better to do than replying to answers, I thought you are in Pattaya now. Much better things to do there than be on the net.

Tr?

Did you write a trip report, it would be interesting for another newbie to hear what the wrong things you discovered were?

My LOS blues disappears the day before departure and begins in the taxi going to Suvanabhumi airport (which is in a couple of days).

Shit ... it happened again. In the taxi on the way to the airport ... the LOS blues started. Here I am half way home, in Amsterdam, and feel like trading my USA return ticket in for a return to LOS.
I have been in LOS 5 times in the past 9 months, however, this time it may be 6-9 months before I will return.

MrDK, you have been fortunate like myself.

There's many guys, that can only make it out there, once or twice a year.

You've just gotta remind yourself, how lucky you've been.

But yeah.............it still sucks.

We've all had wrong things. That's what this board is about. Minimize the bad things. In the end its all good. Usually.

I am currently going through my first case of the LOS Blues, I started getting them as soon as I left Phuket. I'm already determined to make it back within a year (but damn that seems a long, long time away). I had so much fun, Nicke and the girls at MTB are the best. Outstanding!
