Hello to the board

After reading here for more than a year now, finally i registered actually to be able to see the posted pictures. Only to find out that i need a certain amount of posts to see them.
I am a german married to a TG from Bangkok for 2 years now and i love phuket.
I have already been 7 times to phuket but as things there change so fast, everytime i get there i think i am a newbie. So i am more a reader than a writer. Anyway i will try my best to help other bmīs if i can.
I like this forum becos it is friendly and the bmīs are not so agressive like in some german forums.
Usually when i am in phuket my wife stays in bkk and i get arround all on my own. Next time i am in phuket i would also love to meet some other guys and have some drinks together so thats another reason why i registered.
So letīs see what will happen

Hi boxster. Welcome from Schwerin MV, same story but mine was a Range Rover. Friggin' engine overhaul cost more than my Ford. Hope you didn't buy it.

Yes she loves it. First of all she studied english in BKK so she didnīt have any communication problems. Also she went to Goethe Institut every day and her german is already very good.
The only problem is to find a job and to find new friends as she donīt like the thai scene here.
Now after a long time without holiday in thailand she starts getting a bit homesick. But she donīt want to go without me

@ all
thanx for the warm welcome and i will give my best to become a real member in this forum

Errrm, what did you buy to replace the Boxster? A good sensible Volkswagen (maybe the R32 )?

Welcome to the board Boxter. Good Introduction, fair play to you...

Are you from Stuttgart? Supporting the local car industry maybe...

Might catch up with you for a few sometime...

Zum Wohl!

Well i will not complain about those or any other (new) rules. As we saw in the thread about the arrested bar owner and the new strict closing times everyone there has to be very very carefully.
Also itīs fine to "give" (write) something if you wanna "get" (read) something.

No not Stuttgart but only 2 hours away. I see no local car industrie worth supporting. You think they will support a local supplier if they can save one cent buying in China?
Right now i donīt own a car anymore as i am preparing to leave this country. No i will not move to thailand

I donīt know if i should post it here or in the counter thread.
After a long time without a holiday finally i managed to go for 4 weeks.
Most of the time in bangkok but from 27.April till 2. may i will be in phuket.
Would love to meet some BMīs for a beer at MTB or some day time action (fishing, shooting, kart....).
I havnīt booked my room yet but i am thinking about valhalla or summer breeze. If anyone is in one of them during my time please let me know.

27 April - 2 May
