Sorry Tarzan, FT. Just woke up. Listen up! If you two were sitting in a plaster cast looking out the window at a winter day, it might be your only outlook too! BTW, Tarzan I promise to try very hard not to be as condescending as you when I've clocked up 2,000 posts by welcoming every newbie.
Apologies from a humble newbie who just wants to be one of the gang.

Just the voice of experience, tarzan, which I happen to have, since I was thundering round LOS on a Kawa 1000 while you were still a pimply youth in downtown Uppsala or wherever you began to grow up, biting your nails over your school leaving certificate, which I sincerely hope you got. If you did, it's time to take out your school notes and dust them off. While they're no substitute for experience, they're better than nothing in the pursuit of intellectual superiority. Chok dee and lat dee sawat. (sorry, I never did learn to read and write it)
P.S. Thank you for taking the time to post in a lowly NEWBIES THREAD.

Whatever rocks your boat.
Im happy anyway that such a great and well educated man is here to enlighten us and tell us all about your trips on that "ricecooker", and all the other things you experienced in Thailand.
Oh.. Regarding your "P.S"... Sometimes its nice to walk around the "ordinairy people" and see their reality....

At your service, sir. We endeavour always to be modest here in the cheap seats. And the stories.................how about this? Talking of cooking rice, there was a time when the sea round Ko Samui was so crystal clear we cooked our rice in it, my wife and I. And breakfast was a big bowl of porridge topped with fresh fruit and a handful of MJ - used to set me up for the day. Happy days -however, that was many years, many bikes and three wives ago.
