Hello to all the board members

Hello,

I would like to say hello to all of you there.

After traveling to Samui (BoPuth/Chaweng) last year and this year to Phuket (Patong) I got really hooked on the LOS. I enjoyed my time in Phuket very much and after some weeks back in good old Europe I decided to go back for another 2 weeks very soon

I am happy that I found this forum, a valuable source of all topics. Many answers to questions I could not solve by my self, so far.

Have a nice day whereever you are and maybe I meet someone sometime in a bar in Patong

the juggler

Welcome aboard Juggler.

Out of interest, how did you rate Samui vs Phuket?

There is a thread floating around here somewhere on that very topic.

Both islands are very nice!

And it really depends what you are looking for!

But if I had to choose, I would go back to Phuket. But I was and I am looking for a good party and not silence. This is why I am going to return in 3 weeks because I enjoyed it a lot.

Phuket was my first trip, where I returned to Europe and was really depressed. The people, the food, the bars, the party, the sea and the beach many things I am still missing.

Okay.

Make sure you type in your arrival and departure dates, and Mr Werwolf will add you to the calendar.

I arrive in Phuket in 22 days

The problem is, its like an addiction. And I donīt know if there is a cure!
Maybe not. And on the other hand why get cured, just go there again
The problem is only the LOS blues I am suffering from.

Welcome to the board, Juggler, and it is an addiction and I don't think there is a cure, at least I haven't found it the 15 years I have been coming to Phuket.

Wow 15 years! I see no cure available!

I think the place has to have changed a lot over 15 years.
I think 15 years ago the roads have not been tarred on beach road.

Is there a big difference, compared to the years before the Tsunami hit Phuket?
When did the big boom start?
