...there's no going back

Just been back in the cold UK from Phuket and I think my life has been destroyed I've finally learned where Paradise is and I'm already planning my next visit, probably to BKK for May Bank Holiday.

Nice to discover so many guys having the same feelings as me!

Enthaiced, Welcome to the board.
Good to hear you have an opportunity to go back in a relatively short period of time.

Thanks MrDK, glad to be here!

I've discovered this board after I returned and I so wished I had read these amazing threads beforehand!

What I REALLY enjoyed though, was reading Private Dancer! It's like being back to Thailand and it helped me understand a little more Thai mentality!

Yeah going for only 3 days is perfect! You can have the lifestyle of 10K+ baht a day and it won't hurt your wallet!

If you can get a ticket for like £500 it's ok I guess... I mean going to a similar quality beach resort in Southern France, Spain, Italy or Greece how much cheaper would it be?

My only concern is if May is already well inside the rain season. Hope not.

I will be there in early May which is rainy season, though last time I was there in July last year (still monsoon season) it didnt rain for the whole two weeks I was there.

Enthaiced, you say it is cold back in London??

How cold, as I am landing there around the 9th of May to travel the UK for a while

Cheers......

Saleom for UK standards the weather is fine, actually it's warmer than average. Compared to the 30C+ though it's still cold and you feel it when you arrive with your t-shirt on fresh from Phuket But you're coming in two months time anyway, so don't worry at all!

mike_boogie if you had the option of going once a year for 15 days or three times a year for 15+3+3 days what would you choose?
