Dress Regulations

Another silly question but if i don't ask i won't know. Do the Bars, Clubs etc have any dress regulations in Pattaya or Bangkok?

Pattaya definatly has no dress code. Depending on where you go in BKK, some do. If you are loking at a normal beer bar or Go Go, then the answer is no. If you are looking to go to one of the proper clubs like Bed Supper then there is a dress code.

Not being an ex-Royal Marine I wouldn't go anywhere that I had to wear a dress. Was surprised that every Royal I knew had at least one set of evening wear for a run ashore.

Wherever you go (aside from the beach) in public ... keep your shirt on at all times.

as long as you are wearing minimum a shirt, pair of shorts and a pair of sanadals.........you will be fine in 90% of all places including nightclubs in BKK + Patts....

There are a couple of nightclubs in the big hotels where you would be better off with a shirt rather than T shirt and trousers/jeans rather than shorts.....these include Spasso at the Hyatt and CM2 in the Novotel Siam Sq.....I would also recommend this for Q Bar, Bed + Supper and Narcissus whicjh are more upmarket and have a groovier clientel

Thong minimum in most bars...........Thong and a tie at the posher hotels.
