Smile Counting the days down

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to say thanks to everyone who has posted to the forums, very helpful in planning my trip to Phuket. Booked my flight and accommodation yesterday so I'm ready to head over mid June, very much looking forward to the trip since is has been over 10 years since I last visited LOS. I'm looking forward to running into some of you at MTB, I say the next few weeks will drag on.

Thanks again to everyone,
Dave.

Welcome to the board and glad that the information here has helped you.

Hopefully we get to read a report from. Will be interesting to read how you will compare then and now with a 10 year span in between.

Welcome to the board.

If you give me your arrival and departure dates, I will supplement the calendar and the “arrival list” with the data.

Hi Werwolf,

Happily arriving 20 June and sadly departing 30 June.

Hoping to play a round or two of golf whilst there (hangover’s permitting), I see there are some nice courses in the area, can anyone recommend one.

Thanks Dave.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I'm sure things have changed a fair bit in 10 years (can't wait to find out), mind you my last trip there was a bit of a blur as I imagine this one may be as well, but if things are a 1/10 as good as I half remember them, it won't be another 10 years for the next trip.

Thanks Dave.

There are three particularly good courses in Phuket dilmah. Blue Canyon, Loch Palm, and Phuket Country Club. The forum administrator Nicke who owns MTB bar arranges golf days out on Thursday afternoons for keen Board members, so look in and ask him.

Thanks Dawsey, I'll keep the golf afternoon in mind as long as I don't get side tracked by beer,BG's and soapies, (sometimes golf just has to wait).
