Phuket Thailand

I'm new to the board but not to LOS or LOS-based forums. First time I visited Thailand was in 1979 and my virgin trip to Phuket was in 1980. Suffice it say that the Patong area was very different in those days!

I spent 25 years living and working as an ex-pat in various countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Since many of those place were neither friendly nor fun, I visited LOS regularly during those years for R&R and vacations. I returned to the U.S. in 1997 for family (elderly mother who needed help) as well as professional reasons (job offer it would have been stupid to refuse).

I continue to visit LOS four or five times a year for both leisure and business. I'll be back again in July and will probably visit Phuket for at least a few days. I signed up on PHUKET.INFO at the suggestion of several members and look forward to contributing.

where in Nyc you from?
lived there for 12 years
lived in Staten Island, Bay Ridge and Hoboken

just lived in Mamhattan for the last 3 montsh wrokign out of my NYC offices

I am from the largest NE suburb - called Connecticut.

When are you going to be in NYC again. Last time I missed meeting up with you as I was going to Switzerland that day. Maybe we need to plan a night out and see if we can get together a handful of BM's.

more than likely late August, early septemeber for the US Open and a Hampton weekend
be more than happy to meet up with you but might be hard to do a full on BM's night because im out entertaining most nights while in NYC, but you are more than welcomed to come along
