Seven days to go...But still not counting

Its nearly time. At 6.30am on Sat 7th we will arrive. This forum has been terrific so far and i feel i am well covered with information. Thank you all for being so understanding and answering what at times probably sounded like stupid questions. Anyway, not to let you down. Here are a couple of more stupid questions.

After a game of golf, how much should you tip the caddy. I mean, i am not rich so money is important, but i am certainly not a miser either. I want to tip what would be accceptable to the caddy without going overboard.

Is $100 australian dollars expensive for a round of golf? This includes transport to and from the course, buggy and caddy.

How much will i expect to Hire golf clubs at the course.

I know i know, i am a twice a year golfer but the other guys going with me have booked us in for 6 rounds. When i asked why they told me it was in the afternoon and it was to keep us off the drink.

Is it true that most clubs in bangkok and Pattaya close at 1am?

Tips between 200-300 Baht. I normally go for 250.
Don't know how much is one Aus$.
Golf in Phuket is more expensive than in Pattaya or Chiang Mai. one round in Phuket may go from 2600 to 4500 Baht, plus 230 caddy fee, plus 250 caddy tip.
Pattaya a lot of courses between 1000 and 2000. Some even below 1000. Caddy fee & tip same.
I think club hire about 700 bur not sure, I bring my own.
Golf fee can be cheaper if you book through a company, like Harry's in Phuket.

That was pretty expensive... I was looking forward to playing a lot of golf but not sure I will have the budget for it then. Maybe I can use it as an excuse to go to Pattaya? ^^ The golf is to expensive in Phuket!
