Hi All,
Just a quick hello for a first post. I'm back in LOS in on the 12th July 07. I wish that I had of found this forum before my first trip to LOS last year. Honeymooned in Phuket and BK last December. This time have a trip with the wife and a few friends, staying in Karon. Can't wait to be back!! Any suggestions for good watering holes during July. The girls (and the boys) are probably going to want to drink in some go-go bars too, so any that have pretty girls and the drinks that aren't too steep. Cheers, Mainee

Hey Mav,
Thanks mate, will be sure to check them out. Also the wife wants to know where a good LB show can be seen, as she wanted to go last time, but I declined. She said she is going this time whether I want to or not. Probably nothing to xxx for her though.  How has the weather been so far? 2 days 11 hours and 1 minute to go!

Welcome to the board Mainee. I've been to Simons twice with my wife and have enjoyed the show both times "G rated" some of the boys are georgous. Its interesting to watch the faces on them as they are dancing, some of them really seem to love it and some just don't want to be there. There is also one on Soi Katoey, last time I went there it was good, closer to the stage, I think it was 200 baht including free drink but may have gone up. Have a good trip.

Yeah I figured we'd make MTB our first stop. Probably Friday or Saturday night this week.
We'll probably check out the bars at Karon too, seeing we are staying down there. Anyone know of anything decent down there?

Hi and Welcome to the board Mainee.
I been twice to Simon Cabaret Show, and it was entertaining enough. First time I went, my friends had set us up in the VIP seats, and in the first row. I was setup, as part of the show involves audience participation.  It was all in good fun, and so I setup other friends on the second visit. Show's time : 19:30 hrs & 21.30 hrs on most evenings. Shop around with the tour agents to get a price. I think it was... Show Ticket (Regular Seat) 500 and 300 THB for later show. Show Ticket (V.I.P.Seat) 600 and 400 " " Anyway searching on here will provide you with most of what you seek...
