Phuket Thailand

Hello everyone,

I was really glad to find this forum its helped me out a lot, please excuse my terrible English had learing difficulties when i was younger, well to be honest i still do.
Anyway it will my second return to Patong beach this year, I was there in April for the excellent Songkran festival, I enden up staying a month.

I am on my way back 20 August not sure how long I intend to stay but I got a 60 day visa, I am meeting up with a girl I met there first time round,
question is is it a good this to do? I dont know what to do really.

Anyway would also like to have a beer or two with anyone from here whos going to be there same time as me?

I think, it's good to meet her, if you enjoyed her company the last time you were there.

IF she is a bar girl:

For her, it's good cos you were her customer and you are coming back to her - you are a repeat customer for her
For you: it's good too if you liked her service. As long as you don't start picturing beautiful house with a white picket fence and her waiting at home for you come back from work in your mind, it's fine---> excuse my English too. It's not my first language, but I am trying to improve it.

Can you guys give me a comparison between Patong and Pattaya, I realise Pattaya is a city and its location, I just wondered how it compared, cost wise, Friendliness, BG. Any info would be good. Some Aussie guy told me there was load of crime there.
Well there’s loads of crime in my city NORWICH UK but you don’t really see any thing you just read about it.. Was thinking of visiting? Or can you recommend some places.

Exclude Phi Phi as going there anyway whatever the weather, its very calming there for me. Thanks again !

Pattaya is less expensive on just about every measure that I can think of - hotels, food, drink, transport, golf, girls.

The flipside is that is has much more of a "city" feel than Phuket, and a although Rat-u-Thit Rd is starting to rival 2nd Rd!!

Crime isnt an issue as long as you are sensible about when and where you go.

Penguin... I have cut my Patong stay from 11 days down to 8 days. I am gonna head down to Pattaya for 4 days, just for the change and new places to go!!

Will be getting Thai no out there so will pm you my email addy.
