Hi everyone, My first post but good to be here. Lots of great info on this forum! Spent hours reading your messages. I will be in Patong from 20th Sept to Oct 4th. I know it's probably an absolutely crazy question, but am I going to have a good time with my beautiful wife (who I am madly in love with after many years of marriage) and my two teenage daughters? I love a drink (or twenty!) and would love to meet up with some of you guys at MTB but I'm not really interested in shagging the locals. Is this OK or am I sort of "strange"?

Yeah, you will have a good time. Phuket is a family friendly destination. One of the forum's Senior Mods has been taking his family incl teenage daughters to Phuket for many years I think.

Hi and welcome here. Just read some threads of our senior mod Dawsey. He is enjoying similar holidays like you are planning to have. And after reading his posts, I can only say that he seems to have perfect times in Phuket.

Welcome to the forum.

As Nanook and Bello Uomo have said, yes its great for families and mine always have a good time in Phuket. It is pretty family orientated despite the evening bar scene.

As what others have said, there is nothing strange with holidaying with your lovely wife and daughters with no intention of having a sex tour with the locals

There are many other fun things you can do with your family when you are visiting a touristic place, other than having sex and getting drunk

I've been to Patong now several times and my wife loves it and no she's not into anything kinky, just a great place and great people.
