Weather in September?

What's it like? Should I pack my suntan lotion or scuba flippers?

3 years ago i arrived in september and the streets where flooded. I had to walk through the water to reach my hotel. See the pic, the next day it was clear sky and totally dry.

I can swim but with a huge backpack (yes i am a backpacker, no i am not a hippy and yes i take showers) and flipflops on its a bit difficult

They say it happens ones or twice a year normally. I guess i was just unlucky to arrive that evening. But don't worrie about it. It never lasts long.

Well a big backpack diesn't reaaly makes you swim well. And you rare right. when it rains in the tropics it usually doesn't continue days after day and the whole day, just like here. Besides, the temperature still keeps warm.

By the way... well done the quoted post was your 500th!
