Anyone gonna be in Phuket around Sept 12th - 26th?

Spent an amazing few weeks last summer on the islands on the east coast and so looking forward to coming back. Planning on heading down to Phuket, Phi Phi etc. this time round but heading over on my own so would be good to hook up with some sound people. If anyone is gonna be around the same time just send me a pm & could hopefully arrange hooking up for a few beers?

Chances are, if you head to MTB or one of the frequently mentioned bars/restaraunts, you will bump in to enough BM's to have quite a few beers with (Especially if your buying!).

As for being by yourself, most bm's are. So you wont be alone there either.

i get there on the 10th to 20th staying on phi phi on 12 to the 14th then back to phuket never been out of europe befor so this will be a great experience im staying at the summer breeze hotel

Welcome on board!

I wanted to say something about culture shocks since you never left Europe; but that would be not appropriate since I've not been in Thailand yet - although I've spend quite some time in other Asian area's.

From your post I get the impression that you got a package tour. I did not. Just a plain airline ticket and I go when my nose brings me (ie where there is no rain).

If you are going to Phuket in September certain pay a visit (or many) to MTB, but you may also want to create your own introductory thread.

Don't worry about the first trip thing. The ladies will soon make you feel right at home.
