Actually, yeah, like marc and sammy said..unless you have some burning reason to stay at C&N, defo go for Summer Breeze (wasnt really thinking earlier, and its my no.1 choice, lol)
really advisable to book soon as you know your dates.

It has, C&N have their resort at south end of Patong with a pool which is free of use for C&N customers.
Summer Breeze is however more convenient.

Faulty Towers is located on Soi Sunset. Tai Pan disco is on the corner of Soi Sunset and Rat-U-Thit(main street). Soi Sunset is also one very short block down Rat-U-Thit from Soi Sansabai, which is where Summer Breeze is located. Faulty Tower is on the right side of Soi Sunset, near the end, just before you get to the Ex-Pat and Valhalla hotels/restaurants.

Sean,
First welcome to the board.
Second, no need to be nervous the girls in LOS have a magic way of making you feeling at ease (as long as you have some bahts).
Third, ... about the number of days in Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya respectively. Keep in mind that whenever you go to a new location you will spend a bit of time getting situated and oriented. For a first time visit (to any of the locations) I think 2 days is not enough ... 3 would be OK. I would either prioritize and leave out one of the destinations or go 3-7-3 days. Obviously it also depends on what you want to do. If a few and quick points of sightseeing in Bangkok is all the reasons to be there, then 2 days might be OK. Since you have Pattaya on the list I can only imagine one of two thoughts on your part. 1. See all the major tourist sites -or- 2. Visit monger heaven as part of the trip. If it is number two allow an extra day or two there.
When I went in February of this year for 12 days I did Bangkok 2 days and Pattaya and Phuket each 5. Keep in mind that I had been to Bangkok many times before, so that was the perfect balance for me.

A Chopper
I left there ten years ago when I moved to Phuket.
I was what the locals called "a chopper from the Condie" and spent nearly 20 years in Arbroath.

The first trip is great because you are nervous. Jump in and swim. The tide will take you out to your wildest dreams.
I guarantee that you'll come back for your second time in the same year.
I just bought my ticket for november YEEE HAAAAA!!!

i disagree for a 1st timer
BKK can be very overwhelming for newbies, (i didnt like it, but love it now)
2 1/2 days is sufficient time and maybe 2 on the way back when you understand it better
i would save Pattaya for another time but thats just me
better hitting Phi Phi or Krabi for 2 or 3 days if you feel up to it

I was at C&N Spa 2 weeks ago and it was fine. There are 2 C&N hotels at Patong though and 1 is much worse than the other.
C&N
C&N Spa
I strongly suggest you choose the C&N Spa. You can take girls back to either no problem, but the 'Spa' version has much nicer rooms and facilities as opposed to the C&N right next to Bangla road - its rooms are awful imo

its a moot point bcause he chose CSB anyways
but as a newbie, might be better for him to stay within walking distance to everything, although at C&N Spa, you have the MB taxi guys right on the corner

TaiPan is one side of the entrance to Soi Sunset, United Overseas Bank (UOB) is on the other side.
Faulty Towers is worth checking out for their food

True true. Yep the taxi guys on the corner are cool. They looked after me my whole time there. There is one called 'Cat' (nickname). He kept an eye on the front of C&N Spa every night and raced out to pick me up. I didnt have to signal for a ride or anything. Air Con car to Bangla ruled.
