Cheers very much to BM's
Hi all
I have just returned from my first trip to LOS spending 10 days in Phuket and 5 in Bangkok. Thanks mainly to the information I obtained from this forum I think I only managed to get mildly ripped off and was pretty sure the locals where laughing with me rather than at me at least some of the time. After arriving in Patong late at night and getting over a short but servere case of Bangla Road shock with help of that wonderful cure all called Singa beer I was soon in the groove and feeling very relaxed but still amazed and a little excited by my surroundings - where had this place been hiding all my life!  The rest of my trip was great, much wine, women and song - well ok, I did'ent sing all that much. I'm not into writing novels so I would just like to say that I had lots of very very good experiances on my trip and some not so good ones - but is safe to say that none of them in LOS are boring. So thanks to all you knowledgeable BM's, you got me through my first trip with the minimum of hassle and maximum fun, but could sombody tell me how to get this stupid grin of my face, it's been a week since I got back and people are starting to ask me "what the ferk are you so happy about" at work.

Good to read you had a good trip loaded with fun. And the smile on your face, will disappear when the LOS Blues hits you. In turn, that will fade out when you book your next trip.

Well...welcome to the boards. You're suppose to introduce yourself prior to leaving....not on your return. Obviously, you used the "search engine" and had all the useful info collected. Sounds like you had a great trip.
