Bankgok,Samui and beyond!

Always wanted to see more of BKK than just the airports and since Im flying in oct 22ndish for 4months,I thought Id spent a couple of nights there before propellering off to Samui to meet up with friends.

Ive been chating to a few ladys who reside in BKK online and by phone,both singers [with pics and songs to prove,lol]and not part of the p4p scene as Im aware,both up to say hello[and thats it!,they stressed],one gets a day off tuesday and has offered to show me round&go some club with a top band she rates,music my big thing so that gets my vote.

I am still sceptical but I dont leave for 3 weeks and I chat to both girls most nights so I figured Id know by then....maybe,also lets face it getting stood up is'nt such a issue in LOS.Still even not being such a hansome man I imagine the chances of getting stood up by 2 TGs would be pretty unlucky. . .

Im on a tight budget so Im not in Bkk to p4p etc and spend too much on vodka-lipo in go-go's,I hardly drink to be fair and I am very boring.

She said theres few hotels near her for 500b per night,that won't break the bank.

Also whats the drill with meeting and greeting and respecting TGs as Im only used to Patts BGs,I think my "you barfine me 4000b" incredibly humourous and witty ice-breaker will not! go down a treat 2guns.

I guess the I pay you 500b instead of hotel,let me kip on your sofa won't go either.

I should have nearly 4grand for 4 months but maybe doing my TEFL in samui in January so that might hasten the end :sosad

I can change my return date within 6months for about £70ish so running out of cash early can be dealt with if needed.

Got a flight offered for £489 with Kuwait air with just a 50min stopover,however a friendseems to insist taking some Hong Kong shortcut saves bundles however I never heard you guys talk about this?

I am bricking it abit ,just recently been dumped :cry2 and I really want to get away and have a little adventure,I have friends there who run a bar so it seems the right thing to do,Ive only been to LOS twice Patts for holidays and I realise Ive got to watch the purse strings&the [good :lovee ]heart but no backing out now.

Just want some pats on the back from the board and/or construxtive criticism!

First off, your flight with Kuwait Airways. I would take the following offer from Etihad anyday for £1 more. Far better airline than Kuwait with more friendly stopover airport. But there will be a bigger charge to change a return ticket with Etihad.

Forget Hong Kong if you want cheaper. Its more expensive to go via HK from the UK, and HK isn't exactly a cheap place to stay for anytime.


Good luck with your online friends and a good way to sightsee BKK with someone who knows the places to see.

Four months is a long break, I'm envious, so enjoy yourself.
