Hi Team
I'm Steve & in my usual way I started finding out about LOS & found this forum after my 1st trip. I visited from 6th til 14th Sept this year. Apart from 2 nights in BKK the balance was in Patong. I live in Christchurch in New Zealand & it has been very hard adjusting back to life here. I have shared care of my 3 children so juggle that with work, some self employment & whenever I can get it some "me" time.
Anyway this is just a brief intro, will hopefully get to know some of you other BM's, plus I'm trying to get my life sorted so I can visit again at xmas (not my turn for the kids this year lol)

Thanks for the welcome.
I guess it is quite scenic, but when you live somewhere you tend to take it for granted I think. I've enjoyed living in Chch & it's a goodish place for bringing up kids. It's totally flat apart from some hills at one end. It's pretty conservative here & this is probably the most English city in NZ

Welcome to the board. I have found that being a part of this board has made my trip(first of many I am sure) much more enjoyable with all the info on here. Meeting up with BM's and all the folks at MTB is another reason this board is great.

Mojo42 - I don't care about the all blacks - I was born in England, lived there til 13 & am a follower of the proper football lol. So I'll shout for the boks too if ya like
