Fantastic Time at the MTB
I've made 6 trips to Patong Beach over the last three years. Each time my GF comes down from Sakon Nakon and we always stop by the MTB. On my last trip at the end of September we went to the MTB as usual. When one of the girls there found out it was my GF's birthday she disappeared and a little while later returned with a small birthday cake and Nikkie's wife gave her a MTB baseball cap.
My GF was all excited and asked my if she could ring the bell. When she went to do it I was as proud as I could be. She was cute as she could be...with the baseball cap - on backwards - it was a bit of a reach for her to ring the bell...but she was able to do it.
When the shooters were passed around and everybody was ready to down them Nikkie came over to us at the bar...needless to say all of the girls at the bar and alot of the customers followed him....they raised their shot glasses and wished her a Happy Birthday. She was THRILLED. She told me it was one of her happiest moments.
THANKS TO NIKKIE, HIS WIFE, and THE STAFF AT THE MTB for making her birthday one of the ones that SHE SAYS she will never forget. You guys are great!!!!!!

One of the reasons this bar is so successful is that everyone who goes there is made to feel special.

Good to hear you had a good time when you were at MTB. I can just remember ( ) the birthday incedent, although I have did not know that it was your gf b'day. I just thought it was shots being passed around.

He did introduce himself Nicke. HE was there I quite a few nights. I think it has more to do with the amount of drinks you had and your memory, than him.
Hope to meet you again sometime Jim.

My memory is more of the photographic type than typed text, if I see a photo I remember for sure. I meet a lot of people and I can easily remember people from 2-4 years ago when I see them, but can never remember names unless I spoke to them many times or they come often.
Touch wood, I remmeber you Sishow!
My apologies to gymatunited, sorry I am bad with names but good to remember faces.

Its OK!
I'll shall bring a large name tag with me next time. One for you too...... Although its bad enough with bg's knowing my name (Or at least thinking they do) without needing to tell them.
And at least you are touching wood, not cloth!
