Posting[snail mail] to samui from the UK

Some crap ebay seller did not deliver my Hard-drive caddy [portable HD holder/media player etc] item to me in time for my departure tomorrow

So should I get my mum to post it to follow me on to Samui with royal mail,any idea on cost? its very light and small.

Or should I just return it to the plebs,get a paypal refund and buy a similar unit in BKK @probably same the same price.

Personally, I wouldn't post anything of value by snail mail in Thailand, but 'expats' would give you more reliable advice.

Parcel mail has a tendency to 'go missing' so at least it must be registered.. But HD enclosures are dirt cheap and I would pick on up here.
