Smile Gday From Another Newb !

Gday

I’m new to the forums, planning my first trip to phuket very soon hopefully arriving near the end of this month. Found out tones of information through this site it's excellent. I was hoping to ask a few questions, sorry if ive missed the answers on these ones, had no luck with the search or was still abit confused.
What’s sexually safe to do with the bg’s? and what genrally acceptable/not. Have had a lot of trouble finding information on this subject. Also how long is a short time?
I read somewhere that you can hire girls from massage places for the day, I was wondering if this is true and around how much baht this would cost? I’m thinking it would be a good idea to see/learn some things about phuket I wouldn’t by myself? Or could you do the same with a bg and have fun along the way?

Sorry again if ive missed the awnsers to these questions in the search. Ide really appreaciate anyones help, input or stories on these matters and I hope to meet some of you soon
Cheers

Welcome to the board.
You should use the same safe sex practices you would use with any partner that potentially may be at risk. Number one rile is always to use a condom. Period. For additional information you may want to search the Internet for STD and risks.

You can indeed take a massage girl out, all you have to do is ask. More often than not shoe would will probably be interested. The MP will charge you a fine for taking the girl away ... likely around 500 baht per day. Other payments to the girl is between you and her, but 1-1.5k should be in range.
As for learning about Phuket, I don't think their employment matters, but rather the length of time they have been there.

Head for MTB and introduce yourself there ... here too you can learn about Phuket

Welcome to the board. Just follow Mr.DK's advice and go to MTB on your first night out. Be aware of the Black Death Shooters and you will be fine, 55555....

This is not a question for Phuket. Phuket is like every other place and take precautions everywhere. No use asking that question here.

Welcome to the board. Sorry I can't help you with the BG questions. I have a "nice girl" Thai girlfriend who works a normal job and tells me she was a virgin before she met me. I use a condom every time. That is, I believe a universal requirement for men all over the world regardless of STD "hot-spots". There are a few very good reasons for this...I won't insult your intelligence by going into them.

I really hope you enjoy your 1st trip to LOS. I personally believe any Thai woman...including BG has way more class than any western woman. I'm predicting you will become enchanted with LOS.

You will have a great time, even on your own. As for seeing the sights you can pay a tuk tuk to drive you about or meet other tourists and join up with them. You could go with a TG but you have to think whether you want to limit your girl choices when there are so many beautiful ones around!
As advised you go go to MTB, fill the BMs there with drink and listen to their tales and advice!
Yes do wear a raincoat with the girls as it is Russian roulette not to wear one.
ENJOY

Hello everyone, thanks very much for the welcomes and respones. It was
definatly the plan to head to the MTB and hopefully meet some forum members.
Is it unusual for a cheaper range hotel to not take a deposit for a booking ? Ive just been sorting it out with them through email ?
Thanks again for your help everyone.

No , its not unusual at all. When booking through a 3rd party website, a deposit ( normally 10%) is asked for.

I had the same experience and thought it was odd. I was in Patong booking a 1000B/day hotel for 1 week in the future and they didn't want a deposit...so I guess it is usual for them to NOT want a deposit.

Its more a case of the hotel NOT having a secure booking facility for your ccard number....You should also not be surprised if sometimes they mess up your booking..
Cant agree with the idea of hiring a tuk tuk for the day. You are better to ask around with the drivers in private a/c cars on the main roads for a deal OR I can highly recommend Mr Ping Pong ( Yes its his name!) thru The Yorkshire Inn on Soi San Sabai as an honest driver.

However at the beautiful Casa Summer breeze they do not require a deposit. It also seems, that it is the best place to stay by far. No girl fee's, no deposit, theres a pool they share with another hotel I believe. I have not been there yet but the BM's that have been so helpful and the info on this site, has me convinced that Summer Breeze is the best choice. It is on the end of Bangla and right near the Mui thai facility. Welcome to the board btw. If you cant find the info here it doesnt exist. If your a hasher see IJ...hehe

Hey mate welcome to the board... Id go with the advise given by other bm's not to get a bg as a tour guide as you wont want to limit yourself to 1 girl especially on your first trip... Again as mentioned before go and find yourself some ferang mates at MTB or wherever and party with them. Always good to share stories and have a laugh about what you got up to night before with a couple of mates... enjoy your trip

Just editing my post...I just learned that they do require a deposit at Summer Breeze...but its only a touch over the cost of one night. I hope your search has gone well...and again welcome!
