Hi and welcome to the board.
in each bar there is a bell. if you ring the bell it means that you buy all of the customers (and sometimes the staff) a drink or a shooter.
in some bars the cost is 1000baht and in others you pay for each drink.
cheers

In some of the bars it will say 1000baht to ring the bell but confirm with bar staff first as you may find yourself paying for more with the bar staff adding about 5 drinks each to the bill!

Make sure you don't ring the fire bell.

Welcome to the board.
Do confirm with the bar as to the rules before ringing.

Used to be; one ring-buy the customers a drink, two rings buy the customers and staff a drink and get a new nick name for yourself at the same time. If you want to by the staff a round just tell someone it will all be taken care of. I have always really liked the "ckeck bin" system of keeping track of your bar-bill. Just keep your eye on the little cup in front of you; thats where they put all your bills, then tere is no surprises at the end of an evening.
On my last day I would usually "open a Bottle" for the staff after talking to the management about it first, then you pay for a bottle and X number of setups
and the staff can enjoy a beverage when ever they want or not. Always seemed like a nice way to say thanks for taking care of me on my last day.

It's not capped......Unless Nicke has changed things?
20 customers = 20 X 80b (was/is the shooter price)
I much prefer a 1000b capped price.
I have to hand it to Nicke though......He's not shy of ringing the bell himself.
Moreso, than any other bar I've visited in LOS.

Yes George, you're right. But I believe she is the GF of one of our BM's here. But I forgot the names.
