Will my girlfriend feel comfortable?

First, thanks to all for your suggestions and advice. We'll be staying at the
Patong Bay Garden Resort (on the beach for my girlfriend).

Sometimes my gf likes to join in on three and foursomes, sometimes she'll
just use the camera. I'm wondering if it's commonplace or appropriate if we go together to bars looking for girls, or should I go alone? I don't want to put anyone in an awkward situation.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to proceed?

Just go to some bars with your gf together and ask around. Have a couple of brews, get to know the girls and sooner or later you'll meet someone or a few that may be interested. Most girls will probably know someone that likes girls or does the couple thing.

I've seen some of the girls get along better with the female than they do the male in the couple.

One thing though, whatever photo's you take, make sure you provide copies to all forum members as gratuity

Agree with what Dingo said (especially about the posting of ANY picture you may snap).
If you do not bring your girlfriend you are sure to make someone uncomfortable. Imaging bringing a girl back to the hotel ... then introduce her you your girlfriend.

My wife and I have been going to patong for the last four years and that has resulted in 6 trips and 14 weeks altogether.
The bar girls are very playful with my wife. It really is up to you guys. If you smile and are chatty the Bgs will be very friendly back. But if yuo look disapprovingly you will be shuned and rightly so.
