M150
Hi,
Ever since I came home from Phuket in December I've been searching in vain for somewhere in Sydney that sells bottles of M150. I've tried all my local Thai grocery shops but with no luck (lots of Thai Red Bull trying to be passed off to me as the same thing though!).
Any help from a BM that has stumbled across M150 in Sydney would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Liz

I haven't seen it here, mind you. I haven't been looking too hard for it either.
Here's the company's contact details.........Perhaps an email to ask them?

Have you tried the Thai supermarkets in 'Thaina Town'? Campbell Street in the city.

If no one can find it maybe your government do not allow it's import into Oz. M150 is probably the strongest of the popular energy drinks so maybe it has higher levels of some of the ingredients than your country allows.

thinking of taking the lass up to sydney to do the tourist thing soon, asking the sydney locals for ideas on central hotels close to the thai supermarkets mentioned and easy for the tourist bits around the harbour.
prefer places easy to use the public transport.
utfse i suppose on sydney

Hi fun2have,
Campbell is between Central and Town Hall train stations so will be within walking distance no matter where you decide to stay in the city.
There's some pretty good deals on lastminute.com at the moment - including so called "Mystery Hotels". Never tried booking them myself, but for what they're offering it sounds like a v. sweet deal. You might be able to work out which hotel you'll be staying at in advance from the description.
Cheers

Hi Fun2have,
try looking at the Holiday INN (Darling Harbour), The Raddison on Liverpool St, or the Novatel (Little Pier St, Darling Harbour). There are also many appartments like the Medina , Meriton or Kent st appartments in Kent St. Pacific International, Oaks etc in Sussex st, which will put you in or around the area that is China/Thai Town, and plenty of Thai shops etc.
As we know, Thai's hate walking, so your in and around places within a short distance. When were you planning on coming up to Sydney? Drop me a PM if you like, as happy to assist in any questions or ideas to help make the Sydney trip enjoyable.
Cheers...

Or you could stay around Millers Point/Rocks area and get the 431-434 bus down George Street to Thainatown on the odd occasions you will actually be shopping for thai food and not doing the tourist thing. Good Thai restaurant in the Brooklyn Hotel but I'm sure she will develop other tastes.
