Singapore Airlines

Hi there,

We managed to get our airline tickets and there has been a slight change in plans. We are flying via Kuala Lumpur with Singapore Airlines.
What can we expect with regards to their service & facilities onboard?

Thanx for all the advice!

Hi the-undertaker
The last time I flew Singapore Airlines from SA they were great...
I will be flying over with them again this March...
Why KL as opposed to Singapore itself? And when do you fly?

In my opinion, Singapore Airlines (SQ) is really the best airline in the world. Clean planes, very friendly and attentive staff. Decent food and a very good personal entertainment system on board. The seat pitch is quite ok for me. I always fly in economy.

I have used them quite a lot from Amsterdam to the far east and usually via Singapore. Changi airport is a very convenient one too with smooth handling of luggage and immigration.

From there, you will have numerous connections to other places in Asia and Oceania. Either again with SQ or with their daughter airline, which is Silk Air. Silk Air is not too bad either. From Singapore Silk Air flies 3x per day to Phuket.

Good luck.

i have flown with SA 4 times out of my last 5 trips. i have to say that they really provide great service and are very friendly. i always had more than 5 kg over the allowed wheight and they never said a thing.

i dont fly with them on my next trip because i found a cheaper flight with qatar air...

when i flew with them in november i had never experience such quality and attention. i was only in the cattle class and i felt like a first class customer. i thought if this is service the plebs get then those up at the nose must be getting bj s.
booked my next rip with them, even if you could get it 50 quid cheaper, dont skimp
its well worth it
