Some hello's and some questions
Hi everyone, I've been reading over the board for the last few days and I can finally post now so I thought I would say hi!
I will be traveling to Phuket from Jan 28 to Feb 4 and I was hoping i would be able to get to know a few people on here before I left and if lucky maybe find some who are traveling at the same time I am since it will be just me I figure it will be advantageous to know some people if possible! Though from what I have read going stag sounds pretty good.  I'm also looking for anyone who is up for diving, I got my license last fall and I would not want to miss the opportunity to dive somewhere tropical! Also thanks to everyone who has contributed to the community I have found your information most useful and to anyone who has more info to give or wants to get in contact feel free.

Welcome to the board.
Phuket is a great place to go on your own. When you're there make sure to call to, Mai Thai Bar (forum HQ), Hells Bells, Dingos, and faulty towers (good place for food), all BM owned bars and good place to meet people... Phuket (I'm told) has great diving too. Have a good trip.

welcome to the board, I am in phuket the week before you also diving, phuket has some super diving among them king cruiser shark point etc. I can personally recommend Raya Divers but there are tons of dive shops in phuket so shop around, but pick a good center as ive heard some bad press about lax safety among some. I personally choose scandinavian centers as they have so far been the safest in my view. Enjoy your trip!

Im jelous!!! youll arrive a while before me. Ill be there for my first time on feb 21st......send me an email on the 22nd and lets plan on tossing back a few and you can bring me up to speed on your adventure so far...
