Hi Just an intro for myself to the board. I have been to Phuket now 7 times, 5 of which were in the last two years.
I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands which is not too bad weather wise specially in the summer. Like to play golf and do a bit of scuba diving. I am from Glasgow originally and I am an avid supporter of the famous "Glasgow Rangers" football team. Have a friend who has a guesthouse in Patong Fiddy apartment, although I tend not to stay there, although it can be recommended. There are four of us travelling over on 20th Feb for 3 weeks and we can't wait. So this is just a quick hello to all the BM's and a little bit about myself.  Blue Jersey

Welcome to the board.....and by the way......5 times to Phuket in the last 2 years.....mate I want to be you! Enjoy your holiday and warm up the bar stools for my tour in March.

The five times in two years was just prior to my divorce...it was a way of saving money. If I spend it then the ex-missus can have half of f-all. It made it even better 'cause it was as if everything was half price, know what I mean. We use a few bars namely honey bar, shipwreck, lucky bar,sweet bar,las vegas,summertime bar and star bar. Funny that as this is my 4th trip (to Thailand in general-3rd to phuket) in 6 years but my first since separating from my wife. Looking forward to heading to the Mai Thai Bar on my first night to get my bearings. That said i wish my marriage didnt fail and it was all diffeent, but since it isnt I have some stess to get massaged out of me.

Welcome to the board dude
I dare say i have met you at some point on your trips to Phuket, i am a saturday afternoon man for shipwreck, with Rab and Henry, also summertime bar at night. I will be around Phuket the same time as you, so i have no doubt i will catch you in summertime bar at night, davie usually introduces most of the people who come in, especially the jocks. i will look out for the kilts.
