My first post on the board and hello to you all.

Been reading alot on this board latley, after i returned from my first trip to Thailand (patong) for 2 weeks in december 2007.

And i have the same problem as most of you seem to have had the first time you went there.
I can't get the place out of my head, and before i even got back to Norway i decided i was going back as soon as possible.

Return trip was booked within the week of returning home and vacation time was cleared at work.

This time 2 weeks wasn't enough so i ordered 4 weeks from 24th of february to 23rd of march.

The first time i went there i was with 4 others, but for the next trip i ended up going alone.

But hey if it was only half as good as the first trip i will have a blast.

I was in your position this November, after having had one or more wingmen on all previous trips. It was no problem whatsoever though. You'll get to know more new people, that was the main difference for me, not a bad thing.

I will be in Patong at roughly the same time and will be making my first visit to MTB, but not my first to Patong.
Who know we may bump in to each other.
Have a great stay and don't be concerned about being by yourself. it just means more freedom to do what you want to do....

Thanks for the friendly reseption.

And im not really worried about beeing alone on this trip.

Will be a new experience and i will probobly miss a friend to talk shit too at some point during the 4 weeks, but im sure that will sort itself out.

Will be visiting MTB for some beers im sure.

After 3 trips with the same wingman, I'm flying solo in Patong for Songkran.
I was a little apprehensive at first but then thought......what the feck.....I'll be fine.
