Hi all, I am trying to get an English Cocker Spaniel, preferably black and white female, so far no luck, I have tried the night market in I think its Chao fa road? so any ideas would be very welcome.

I don't know much about dog breeding but a lot about shares!!! what's the connection you may ask, a recent programme on bloomberg has been highlighting the awful practises of inbreeding in asia. this means for you even if you find the dog of your choice you may end up with a lot of heartache as it develops problems and it will. I would suggest you contact specific dog owners clubs from you own country and ask for their recommendations as to how to purchase a breed of your liking in thailand.

Or maybe bring your own from England? Marc had his dog brought from US to Patong, no quarantine or so.

very good advice
a lot of these dogs sold in the market are not full bred and you dont see the results of that until they are out of puppy stage

even here in the states. my ex-gf bought a golden retriever from a pet store, not a breeder. she ended up being in-bred and very overweight, body like a box
the poor thing tore out 3 ACL's and had to be put to sleep at the age of 9
absolutely broke my heart

have you seen any Cocker Spaniels in Thailand?
it seems for big dogs, you see a lot of Golden's and Rotweilers and there only seems to be about 3 or 4 smaller breed of dogs that make the circuit

coming from England, where the laws seem to be a little more stringent than in US, it might be a little more difficult. but since LOS is still the destination, im sure would be somewhat the same
you also have to consider where the plane would be transiting. a lot of the hassle i had was in Hong Kong and thankfully Jeffrey was able to help me out and get the permits on the ground for me
