regarding english classes in Phuket

i may be wrong, but i would think the english classes would be thai teachers teaching english geared to thai students
if anything, she would need a one-on-one class and someone who speaks german, no?

hi marc,

we are focusing on phuket-language-school.com, they are here in germany certified as "educational holiday provider", so my gf gets 2 weeks payed extra holidays.

they write on their homepage in the FAQ:
"Whilst all of our languages are taught by native-speaking teachers, our many years of teaching English to Thai students has shown us that some students in the beginner and lower levels actually learn English faster if their classes are taught by qualified Thai instructors. That's why, after careful training, we employ a number of Thai teachers. All other languages are taught by native speakers."

wheach i understand, that they have thai teachers for the "english for thai" cources, but native language speakers for all other cources.

so for me doesnt matter if the teachers from the UK (only no scotish please :-))) or the US or australia etc.

or maybe my english is not good enough to understand the faq?

well, doesnt matter, she is just a beginner in english and of couse i know, that the cant learn english in two weeks, but much better than a language school here in germany (and better weather and more fun for me 555555)

Wolf.

p.s. i didnt want to use my hello threat for some real discussians, sorry for that.
