Newbie coming in April
Thanks for all the info on this board. I'm traveling to Phuket by myself for a few days. Hopefully, I'll have some good stories to share when I get back. My only question is what to do when I fly into Bangkok. I get there around midnight and my flight to Phuket is 7:30am. I don't plan on getting a hotel room for just a few hours. Is there a place I can store my bags at the airport and hit a club for a few hours?

Welcome to the board.
Not much point looking around BKK for that short a time - currently bars are being closed at 1am so unless that situation improves then your out of luck.

Welcome to the board.
No sure of the current situation and 1 AM bar closing.
Assuming that this restriction is not on place when you get there, you options are still limited, mainly your time.
If you are determined to find P4P, a hotel room and use it as your "ST place", consider that arriving at midnight means arriving at your hotel at 1 PM ++. Departing at 7:30 AM means leaving the hotel 6 AM or earlier. So you have at most 5 hours to find your companion, do the deed and get some sleep (if necessary).
Good Luck have fun

Hey JJ welcome to the board
I suggest you find a quiet corner at the airport and get some shuteyes. In reality, you dont have that much time. Lets say the bars and clubs closing time change. You go and get your groove on and then what! Like alot of BM, I'm sure you're a handsuum man and the ladies will be flocking to you. In my opinion, too many unknowns, chill at the airport.

Welcome to the board. No point leaving the airport...so as someone said...find a corner and try to get a few hours. This is why I love K.L. airport with their in terminal hotel where you can rent a room for 6hrs.

I arrive on April 14th and leave on the 18th. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but definitely going to visit MTB.
Thx for the advice. I'll just stay at the airport. I was trying to get there in time for my bday on the 11th but didn't work out. Just going to have to celebrate on the 14th.

Austin still isn't crowded like Houston or Dallas, but it's getting there. Definitely my favorite city in Texas. I don't want to leave but looking for a new job and Austin market isn't very good right now. Maybe I'll bring my resume to Phuket.
