Phuket Thailand

Hey Hows it going before you say it I have searched the board and couldnt find anything to help with my query! Anyways hello to everyone on the boards my names Ciaran and I'm going to Phuket to study Muay Thai.The camp im going to have sent me all the stuff I need to send to the Thai Embassy in Ireland to get an educational visa so I can go for up to 15 months.I cant go for 6 weeks however as Im in the process of selling my house and some other stuff.Anyways if I wanted to go to Thailand now for say 4 weeks on a regular 30 day visa that you get when you enter the country then go home and finalise all the house stuff then get my educational visa and come back for the year would that be ok.Does anybody know if once you've been in the country then maybe you cant come back for a certain period of time or any rules like that?If anybody can help I'd be very grateful as I cant wait to go and having to wait around at home doing nothing for 6 weeks is going to do my head in! I dont want to get the educational visa now in case theres any hassles with the house and I end up having to come back home for a long period and lose time on the visa

You will have no problems, take the 4 weeks (30 days tourist visa), then apply for the 12 month educational visa when you return to Ireland.
