Hi all,

First time for a 5-day visit Phuket (Karon) in mid-May. Have been reading this site with great interest. Thanks to everyone for outstanding information.

So here is my question. My judgment isn't great after drinking too many beers so I am wondering what I might drag home at night. Also, I'm traveling alone. I'm wondering if there are high quality, English speaking, escorts or companions that can be hired. I'm thinking of someone that can act as a daytime guide, choose restaurants & local sites, but also would enjoy nightlife together. I don't mind paying more if the quality is high.

Or is it easier to just find a high quaility BG and hire her for some extened time?

Any thoughts?

i think if you just hit the bars you'll find a decent enough BG that will show you around etc. don't waste your cash on some overpriced escort.

I have only once seen a girl who i thought was the type you are looking for, she was a fantastic looker who spoke perfect english and immediatly thought now if i had a shed load of cash i would love to hire her for the week! she was in home bar off bangala and was with a guy but talked to a couple of Arab guys who she also new looked a player! but was outstanding. I would think some of the guys in this forum who live in Phuket would probably know if you can get a girl like this! in my opinion if no one comes forward with a contact number i would go to "Fantasy" in Phuket town and ask mama san for a suitable girl fitting your requirements but i cant see it being cheap! but then quality never is! if you like one, give her a trial run for a few days and if it doesnt work out toss her back and try something else. I am sure some of the other guys have there own ideas! by the way dont get confused with Fantasy and Fantasia the latter being a show, which is also nice but no where near as entertaining as the girls in Fantasy (Phuket Town) Best of luck.

I predict that you go for the first, maybe second BG that smiles at you. How you feel about her after boom boom is another question. Why dont you pick a BG before you get wasted and then proceed to get drunk?

yeah...no need for the preparation...follow your instincts is the best advice I can give......and remember at the end of the day making a few small mistakes along the way is half the fun...just go with the flow...relax...and enjoy yourself

I agree with the recommendations given .... find a bar girl, a go-go girl, a freelancer .... you name it.
It would, however, be interesting to hear from board members who have commissioned escorts .... what was the experience like.
It would especially be interesting to hear for anyone who have experience with both.

..... as they say don't ditch it before you try it.

Thanks for that advice. I am probably over analyzing this, which would be my typical style. I was just thinking that a companion would be a fun choice but maybe that will be easy to find. Also I don't know what to expect from the BG's. I would enjoy taking someone for nice dinners, etc. Someone with enough style that they can show up at a nice place and be comfortable.

Some seek a different girl every night, some seek a companion for the duration and some a little of both.

In brief they are in the business to make money (aren't we all) and since you pay them after the fact they usually have all the incentive to earn their buck.

Be careful you don't get you hopes up too high here. A nice dinner in an average setting they'll all enjoy.
Take them to a very fancy place and you may make the uncomfortable ....
99% of the time they simply wouldn't know what to do with three sets for knives and forks (even two sets of fork and spoon).

If you are in LOS just for a visit and high-class is what you are looking for you may have to resort to the escort service. .... is that really what you are looking for? Will they deliver what you expect (see my question in my post above)?

Dont go over analyzing everything, LOS is for free thinkers who dont have a plan. Just go with the flow and explore, that's where the fun is at.

if you want to go upcountry and visit the tourist sites, there are a couple agencies in bkk that offer companions for that at what i would say is a steep price, just google bangkok escorts.
if you are planning on running the bars you will regret having someone there and not able to play.
as mentioned earlier, making mistakes sometimes is half the fun. it dosn't take that long to learn the ropes, but i have seen veterans still get burned sometimes.
being from the US, my first time i was nervous especally after hearing some of the horror stories, but i made it fine and had a blast, and i'm a little on the gullable side sometimes.

Look ive had my fair share of BG's, escorts / companions in LOS…

I guess it all depends how much you want to spend…

I once paid $7K THB daily for a companion / escort from an agency…

She was gorgeous, intelligent and spoke great english…

I could not have asked for more than what I received!!!

Although having said that, I have paid as little as $1K THB for BG's who were of the same ilk and in reality they did the same thing…

Go with the flow. On your first night try and ease back on the beers and see what is out there.
You will soon realize that the option available are just astounding.

Just got back last week from my first trip to LOS (will do report when i get the time). I had made all kinds of plans before I arrived but they all went out the window within a couple of hours of arriving.

My recommendation is that you just take things as they come and you find what you want and have lots of fun.

get a bg, there are plenty around that fit your bill, have a drink and chat you will know if they are what you want if not move on, why waste money through an agency it's not hard (but will be later) just treat them well and they will look after you, you don't have alot of time so don't waste it, if you are comfortable ask her if she will stay with you and show you around, determine what she expects so there is no problems when you say goodbye and most of all enjoy.

If you get a bar girl remember you have to pay her bar fine to the bar owner for every day she is not working the bar - 200-500 baht a day.

Unless the girl is a high earner - say taking 3+ customers a night for short time - most girls would jump at the offer. Thais hate boredom - every night at the bar is same same - take her away from bar is a chance for something different for her. Good face too in front of her mates.

Keep it light and fun.

Also dont just go for the first girl who smiles at you - spend some time chatting to the girl and see if you are both comfortable with each other.

Well first of all to each his own, but since you ask for opinions, I personally would not bother getting into anything else than sex and partying with the BGs. The sex and partying is great so why spoil that perfect formula? The wining and dining, walking the beach, candlelight, going on day trips etc is, to me at least, a complete waste of time. Think for what purpose you would want to do this? What kind of message will it give the BG? And consider how it could even hurt your feelings later on.

The average BG's English is pretty minimal, in speaking with many BG's one might think they understand but they actually do not and just nod or say yes to be polite. Second their and your culture are miles apart, bridging it will be a long and tedious process and if you do not have the time for that it will simply frustrate you. Also you have to realize the kind of world the average BG lives in, is that world compatible with your world? I can assure you they are not into fine dining with a French wine. They will go with you, they will say that it is all up to you, but they only do it to serve you since you are the one who is paying.

I would also be careful in giving the wrong message, giving messages of romance are ok but only if you are really serious. Would you want to have a long term relationship or even marriage with a BG? If not, then avoid hurting her and potentially yourself by playing Casanova.

Don't get me wrong, I do not look down on BG's, their way of making a living is very tough and in interacting with them I find they are basically nice people with feelings.

Anyway, just my 2 cents, you do what you please but avoid hurting yourself and others.

also, there are these 2 places in town that closes at 4am (hip hop + house) and 6am (hip hop) packed with pretty FL. am still looking for places that plays trance..

For 5 day visit and it is your first time, don’t waste it. And why karon? Patong should be for first time visitors. Get the feel of the place and how it all works. Then I am sure you will re assess your situation.

As for a long-term companion, you would really need to develop some chemistry between you. After all you did ask for English speaking girls. But if you must my suggestion is look for the freelancers in the nightclubs. Quite a few of them are girls looking to make extra money. Look out for the ones who are actually spending money on drinks for themselves and well presented. As these are ones who are not desperate to score every night and you may just find what you are looking for.

This of course is one of many options. I would stay away from escort agencies. If you see some of their websites the rate per hour is big. I would hate to see what they would charge for a day. Also in Bangkok some of the girls working in escort agencies are actually bar girls who are registered with the agencies. Leave the escort agencies to the guys who cant be bothered leaving their hotel rooms and having to deal with the barfine and lady drinks issues.

Just go and enjoy your holiday.
