Phuket Thailand

Hi guys, Just thought I would say hi. I have been going to LOS for a few years now and love the place. But never been to Phuket. So thought I would join the forum and find out a bit of info before I make my first trip. Hope to make a few new friends along the way as well.

Where have you gone on your other trips?

There is a number of threads discussing (arguing) Phuket vs other places in Thailand.

I have been mainly to Bangkok. With a couple of visits to Pattaya. I love Pattaya it is just one big sexathon. I was going to go to Phuket last year but changed my mind and went to BKK instead. I stayed for 3 weeks and as always had a great time. Will have to make an effort to visit Phuket this time around.

I am sure you will enjoy Phuket.
Not a clazy as Pattaya.
It is more "vacation like" with better beaches and more touristy things to do.

I am sure someone will challenge me on this and say that there are a lot of touristy things to do in Pattaya.
While that may be true in Pattaya I find it hard to venture more than a few 100 meters from the hotel before I am distracted.

If you like the bar scene in Pattaya you will like it in Phuket (mainly Patong) just as well.
There are fewer go-go's and less mongering during the day.

Yeah I will definetly have to check out Phuket.
But I do like Pattaya for the reason that in the middle of the day almost where ever you are there is a bar and if the mood grabs you. You can have a little brown sex machine to play with for an hour or so.
