I'll sure visit MTB in june to meet some of the BM's. What is the best time to visit MTB?
Actually, after seeing pics of Nicke in another thread, I'm sure I've seen his face before. Think I had some beers at MTB without knowing it

I find if you aren't single the bar scene can be quite fun. If I was single I definitely wouldn't be hanging out at the bars...it just isn't my cup of tea. Incidently, I met my Thai GF in a coffee shop far away from the bar scene...so it is possible to hook up without going to bars...it takes a bit more effort though and it really helps that I'm a hansome man. Anyway, I wouldn't stay away from Pattaya just because you aren't into the bar scene...there are girls everywhere who don't work in bars who would love to meet a farang and go out to eat and music etc.

Yes, I'm single but I DO like the barscene. I just like a bit of both worlds: some sightseeing and stuff during the day and bars at night. No offence to guys who just want to party.
Hey, I'm a handsome guy to. All the girls tell me and they wouldn't lie , now would they.

I hoped the prices for camera's would be better in LOS, but that was a big dissapointment.

You can get the EOS450D kit in fotofile (MBK) for 27900 Bath fotofile.net, 26000 with VAT refund

You can buy the ixus 860 for 13900 Bath at Fotofile, I think the cheapest I see this camera in Phuket was 15800, that's 2000 bath without haggling.

ok, thanks. I won't be able to go there on my next trip in june cause I have a one-entry visa. Maybe I should make a stopover on a future trip. Is KL worth visiting, besides the shopping?

Well its ok just a big city ,Im not really into all that concreate and city life, I like Singapore better more exspensive there though. Really I just go to KL for renewing my Visa once a year for Thailand, would like to go when they have the GP there maybe next year . Not what I would call holuday destination although they advertise it as such...

I don't shop in KL (i mean clothes), i go to Singapore during the Great Singapore Sale which is starting soon, May 24th for 2 months. Singapore Sale is the best at this part of the world, you really get TRUE discounts and also on new season products.
