Aussie bar patong beach

To anyone out there aussies especially this bar is a great place to start good cheap food good prices on alcohol all big games live great atmosphere fantastic staff.
I had a real bad start to my holiday and was down for a few days,a couple of the staff picked up on that after i told them what happened they all went out of there way to help me out and cheer me up.They took me under there wings and showed me a side to thailand i would of never seen by myself.
I had the best time with these ladies and a few of people like myself there to have a good time and dont these girls know how to party.Im gratefull for all of them im staying in touch with a couple of them and will be back as soon as i can to do it all over again so for all u guys looking for a place to start before u go out and tear up the town this is the place,just remember these are people who will go out of there to help u enjoy urself so treat them as u would like to be treated and u cant go wrong.
As for the rest of my trip i had an absolute ball.

Is it the bar on the corner of beach and the other one??opposite absolute hotel? and the owners name is peter right?
I always hang there on my trips, like you said a good and cheap place to start off before hitting Bangla or even to have a couple during the day..
The staff are very friendly and Petes also a top bloke...

No its in bangla rd across the road from the kangaroo bar the u2 bar about 1 3rd of the way up from the beach.

The bar u are talking about is called "The Beach Bar" it is located as u said across from the beach , right down the sth end of the beach rd of Patong, at end of bangla(beach end) turn left - its all the way to the end where road bends to the left to go to kata/karon beaches. its just around corner 1st bar there, Pete (from newcastle aust. where iam from)-turns out i used to play footy against his brother -"small world" ) is a good bloke & staff are great, girls still remembered me from last years visit when i was there in march , cheap beer, good food, & etc,
if not at aussie bar , normally start nite off there b4 heading to bangla.

I agree with Timios "aussie bar" is good place to start the night for watching sport & a bit of food , before heading off to MTB & Dingo's & further.

So i guess you blokes know Ronnie??? The tailor!!!!! Ive probably had a chat to you blokes when there but didnt discuss this forum.... Always nice people and families there to chat with.....

sure it's an ok joint but why travel all the way to los to drink in an aussie pub, ok i know they are the only place on the island that gets all footy LIVE, and i have been known to spend time there, but imho it's not the place to start out the night.

They took me under there wings and showed me a side to thailand i would of never seen by myself.

whilst under these little angels wings, did you find out what side they support? roosters V thai taipans? or geelong v bg allstars? 55
what side of thailand were they able to show you that you would not have found elsewhere?
the two guys that own the bar are really good operators, and they have bought the place next door and also upstairs, by around oct/nov it should be finished, it will basically be replacated from the existing building, it will be the biggest bar around town, excluding tai pan and bannana and the like of nightclubs etc.

the aussie was were everybody meet up first before we hit the strip they supported the big v and they me us took to pubs and clubs u wouldnt know excisted places were they all went to party good cheap nights lots of fun.
No i didnt go to thailand to sit in an auusie pub all day i found it as good as place as any to kick start my night.+ i love my sport and they had the best variety in town.

It is just called the "Aussie Bar" many different nationalities go there, in past 4 years i've been going there I have rarely met many aussies ,mainly Europeans & Yanks, (apart from the nite when Aust. played Italy in World Cup Soccer place was packed with yellow Kewell & Viduka shirts)
i like it 'cause it has all major sports, good to meet people from other parts of the world, & it's open before i head off to MTB & other Soi's off Bangla that don't open normally untill 9.00/9.30pm -
being right or wrong that's just my opinion anyway

yes met the Tailor last few times i've been to patong but couldnt remember his name -"ronnie" ?- he is a real nice bloke , never hassles u to buy a suit, always chatted to me about other things than trying to sell a suit,
probably have met u there at some stage over past few years, nex time there will have a beer or 2 with u & pete there

Yeah mate he is a good bloke...... Doesnt hassel ya but i bet you bought one at the end.. i went in to talk to a mate while he was getting measured up and i left the shop with 5 pants and 5 shirts. Still havnt even worn them as im a tradie.. but the bright side is if i do need them one day they be there true...
I'm in LOS in 7 July through to early Aug if your in as well yes we'll have many beers mate...

Mate i'd love to get back 2 LOS soon , but was only there in late Feb to early March this year & then 2 weeks in Cambodia - so lack of funds at moment , looking at oct/nov this year at this stage , just see how my funds are then.
