Does anyone have any information on the Amari Coral Beach's policy?

Thanks in advance.

I guess it means that they would charge a joiner fee of 1000 bath too

Guest friendly (the minibar even sells condoms) and still stylish and great setting in Kata: CC Blooms up the hill but they drive you to the beach or restaurants what you want.
Patong Merlin charges 800 (but why not bring her in in the afternoon for free)

Hi,
never bin there, but you can have a look at their website: http://www.principevillage.com/
But it's not directly in the neighburhood of Bangla Rd. I think about 8 min walking. You also can check out the "accommodation-transportation" forum. Much more info there.
Cheers,
Raval

When me and a friend were in Phuket we stayed at the diamond cliff resort. He asked if girls were aloud in and he was told "if you bring a girl back we will ask you to leave" A simple no would have been enough. I would guess its because its a family orientated hotel. It was a shame because its such a lovely hotel. Still our mistake we didnt bother to check before we booked it and learned the lesson the hardway

Saw a friend Saturday. Just came back from Phuket. She booked with her husband a suite in the Diamond Cliff. The guy has a travel company in Belgium, owns busses, travel agency etc. She is from Indonesian descent, born and grown up in the Netherlands, before Dutch and now Belgian nationality. Doesn' even speak Indonesian.
Arrival day they went for a meal and coming back in the hotel and going to their room they were stopped and they asked her ID as those **sholes thought she was a bargirl (she still looks good for being 50 years old). She and her husband affronted. Her husband wanted to see the General Manager, which actually excused on behalf of his staff. Husband also phoned to the GM of the tour organiser specialised in Thai holidays and having contracts with several hotels for putting tourists there.
Next morning they checked out and moved to a suite in the Baan Yin Dee.
