Hotels Guest Friendly
Some hotels will charge a joiner fee if you bring a girl back to your hotel you will have to pay this on top of what you are already paying for the hotel this can range anywhere from 300 to 3000 bht depending on the hotel (per night).
This list has been compiled from information provided by members of this forum, if the hotel you have booked is not on the list email them and ask for confirmation on wether they will charge you a joiner fee if they say no print it out and take it with you just in case. Horizon Guest friendly???
Hi All,
I emailed the Horizon hotel in March (after making a booking) on advice from BM's about their joiner fee and they want 3000 baht, and this is no mistake- 6 emails later. I suggested I would have to cancel if they were not more reasonable, they said "up to you" so I did! They must have plenty ot Guests!!! So thanks to the advice from the BM's otherwise it would have stuffed my holiday up in May.

Thanks Devman we want to keep this up to date for all BM's to use as well if anyone wants to add more hotel/guesthouses or gets charged at any of the above let me know and I'll update the list.

Patong Villa on Beach Rd is also guest friendly no charge.Best to confirm by email first though.

Thara Patong
Thara Patong was also guest friendly when I stayed there a year and a half ago. There was some discussion recently whether this was still the case. Again, best to email them for confirmation.

Hi Kiwi Hitman,
I will also be staying at the Baan Sukahothai. I emailed them as well and can confirm your info, but how do you double book if you go by yourself and bring different girls? Also, is this hotel OK with girls brought back to the hotel and what time are they expected to leave? Thanks

When booking hotels the more upmarket ones have single occupancy room or double occupancy room the later being more expensive but still cheaper than a joiner fee so when you book you have to ask for a double for two people.
Ok I've added Thara Patong and Patong Villa some of these places will be cool about it during low season but if it's high season suddenly they start charging I think a BM had problems with Seaview Patong last year might have been Ally. By girl friendly I mean they don't have issues with the girls using the facilities some of them just want them out in the morning.

Sea Sund Sand/Patong Willa
Sea Sun Sand took 200 bath when i was there 2003
and Patong willa was also charging you but when we email them and ask they say no joiner fee..so we get it for free..So email and ask them and print out the email just in case have anyone stay at Lamai Inn?? what you think of it??? Peter

100% GUEST FRIENDLY
Stoney Monday is a great place to stay staff great and very friendly food good breakfast and dinner bar good with pool table rooms not huge but clean and very nice only problems no lift so can be a bit hard on you and GF when coming home late at night full of piss !!! and no swimming pool  about 15-20 min walk to bangla which I quiet like nice stroll  Members get 10% disc. but see if they have better specials when u book.

stoneymonday looks great but when I cancelled my booking arriving 31 dec 04 right after the tsunami I didn't get any refund which quite disapointed me. I got full refund from bkk air but stoneymonday charged my credit card for 300+A$ . I cancelled the booking right after tsunami but I guess I should have asked a refund as some hotels think it's fair to bill someone 300a$ for nothing.

The 'double' thing is ok but does not really mean 'guest friendly' often the double applies only to the same girl each night and or what hapens when that becomes a 'triple' or 'quadruple' ??

Victoria Guesthouse is starting up!
After the relocation and rebuilding from scratch Victoria now can offer 10 rooms very central located! Maybee not as central as before but almost. Just under Patong Tower! I sold my part of Victoria just before the tsunami, but I still have my heart there. A more friendly hotel is difficult to find! Was living ther in April and can strongly recomend. One of the evenings we had a BBQ there. All the bargirls that was there fixed the food and we all had a realy good time! So guestfriendly.....? Of course!! /sunem PS. I will update Victoria homesite as soon I get some more photos from Basse!

Have you done that before at the Sukahothai? If you have then I will try to have my travel agent book me as a double - with a made up girls name, if it's not too late as I staying there from the 29th. Just wondering if they would say something if different girls were brought back each night, and not initially booking in with one. Thanks Devman

Club Bamboo (just down the hill from me) list on thier site "Maximum 2 Persons per room in existing beds" but that might just be site blurb..
Also lots of mention on single occupancy price and double occupancy price but again dont know if its enforced..
