First time Phuket

Hey.

My wife and me has booked a room at Harrys Beach Hotel, and we r going to stay in Patong Beach for 3 weeks, June/July.
1. Can we go and have a beer or coke at a bar “ May Thai Bar”, is that accepted ?
2. We have a budget of 5500 bath a day, is that enough ? ( we dont go drinking and I don’t need any girl, my wife is thai).
3. And what would u recommend us to see in Phuket ?

As far as sight seeing the island itself is very beautiful if you have not been before also there are many islands you can travel to by boat day trips etc., Phuket Fantasea is always a good for a night out.

You and your wife will be welcomed by Nicke and Ead at Mai Thai Bar.

They are one of the nicest couples you could ever wish to meet, the fact that you are not going to the bar as a single male looking to hook up with bargirls makes no difference whatsoever.

If you look in the board members on tour section, you will see pics from a guy in England who goes there with his family, his bm name is Dawsey, you can see that he also doesn't go to Mai Thai bar for bargirl action.

So yes..it's accepted, your budget will be more than enough, especially as you are not there to ''hire girlfriends'' for the night.
