i am new to the forum and lookin for advice on buyin a bar/gueshouse business in the phuket area- apart from dont do it lol.

Good advice from Safeas. Talk to Geir for sure! He's a great guy. Others you may want to speak with if you get the chance are Nicke, LivinLos, and Geespot, as they seem to have their pulse on the action when it comes to the business grapevine in Patong!

Welcome to the board. Send me a PM and tell me what your looking for and what your budget is. I can only help you with bars, and I know of quite a few up for sale at the moment.

I know of a couple of guesthouses / hotels.. Prices in the 20 mil range though..

Some deals on bars if you are prepared to weather the low season...
