In the Thai language, the word "haa" is the word for the number 5. Therefore, 555555 means "ha ha ha ha ha ha!" In other words it means the person who writes 555555 is laughing! It is computer shorthand for LOS lovers!

What does BM means?

I was able to figure out the 5555 part coz when I wa in Phuket (the one and only time) I asked my tailor about the word "halloy" and he said it means 500 and ha means 5... He then asked me how I came across that particular word and I explained to him that most of the times we walk by a bar the ladies yell "halloy" at me/us and I wonder too what they mean... He then starts laughing and explain the simple fact that they are trying to say "hello" and not "halloy".... Nevertheless "BM" was too much for me and I can't figure out what it stands for... I'm pretty sure BM refers to the oracles and most experience of you guys bu I can't figure out what BM stands for Could it be big-man? Boss-man?

Hi Nicke and thank you for your hospitality. I look forward to meet you and visit your bar at the end of the year. You have a great forum here and I could say it's more a way of life than just a forum. Good job! Hipp hipp hurray!

Okay, so if Father Xmas and the Jolly Green Giant go to Thailand would they go "6-6-6" when they laugh?

IMWTK!
