What a patronising arrogant comment... How do you know what he can or cannot afford ???
Seaview apartment complex in panwa approx 4m.. Kamala had some seaview in a development at 4 or 5..
Also while farangs may 'gouge' you on prices you ever tried to organize or deal with those 150 baht per day burmese labourers ?? Farang business charge more becuase in general they finish to a high standard.. Thai businesses can be pushed and pushed and finally get the job done but it is really rare to find a thai run business that operates on time, comes when it says it will, does the job the way it is described, uses any common sense. I have experience with some of the 150 baht a day labour and if you want to do the job 3 or 4 times to get it right, monitor what they do constantly, have them apply no logic to the order of work so things have to be done and redone, take a day to do what a 'skilled' labourer would do in an hour or two, then go ahead and hire them..
