so when you pay the BG bar fine, do you pay her directly again afterwards?
who do you pay the barfine to?

the barfine is to compensate the bar-owner for losing the girl for the night, (she is employed as a waitress )so if you take her away ,she,s not there to work anymore ,its only about 200bht so no big deal !

Yep happened to us in Playschool several times, especially in an agogo not much point in staying open with no girls.

Barfines are payable to the bar or gogo standard bf in Patong for beer bars is 200bht and gogo is 500bht once you have paid you can take the girl from the bar they will usually just add the bf to your drinks bill.

Are crazy horse under tiger still charging 500 baht bar fine.
the only bar i found in patong charging that amount for a bar fine in january.

All gogo's are B500 BF. Even in bar beers any staff which are on salary are normally BF'd at B500. Its all about cost recovery.

The bar Fine also compensates the Bar Owners against the cost of the girls accomodation and food. A lot of bar owners pay all the costs of houses and food for the girls that work in the bar. This can add up over time. No bar owners hat iknow of take any cut from the girls fee for the night so it is a pretty fair deal for all concerned a bar fine of 200 baht.

Some bars also give a small percent to the girl as well, for every bar fine she pulls. The girl I used to take from one bar got 50bt out of the 300 for her bar fine. Plus she got 20bt for every drink she had bought for her, etc... They have to make their money some how, if they're not getting 'tips' all the time. Believe it or not, some girls might spend a whole week without getting bar fined by anyone... can you imagine going a whole week without sex? OMG... lol

Yes they are...

Should note that in angelese in PI the bar fine is all you pay.. Pay the bar and the girls service is included (tho some tipping is normal for good service).. Bit of a change from Thailand..

i know about the 500 baht bar fine if you want the full time staff or cashiers but she was just a bargirl.
only been working a week and not much english when see ask someone in bar to tell me they said 500baht.
do not know if the other girl was trying to pull a fast one but even some other blokes i was talking to said it was 500baht.
worth it if i knew she was good but maybe just a star fish.
Plenty of other bars got my barfine any way.

Do you know then, do the bars in PI keep the majority of that money or does it still go to the girl?

The girl gets a large portion (half ??) but the bars also provide more in the way of salary and support (accomodations / food / etc)..

Sounded like it was a 'safer' deal for the girl but not as good a deal for a superstar that turned a trick each night..

Baz bar fines at Crazy Horse still 500 baht, also Sharky's bar 500 baht, No Name bar 300 baht, others mostly 200 baht
Many girls dancing on the bar in Tiger bars are now on salary 6-8000 baht per month, or 200 baht per night and some taquilla shooters thrown
