What airline to use in BKK to goto Koh Samuai?
Just wondering, what airline I should use for Koh Samuai. I am using AirAsia for flights to Phuket, just wondering what Airline goes to Koh Samuai? Or can I just take a boat / ferry over there? What about Phi Phi Island? Has that been restored yet?

There is only one choice into Samui, and that is Bangkok Air. The other alternative is Thai to Surat Thani and then a bus/ferry ride to Samui. Rather longer, but cheaper and the ferry ride is nice.
Have done the train trip from Surat Thani to Bangkok, even on the first class train, it is WAYYYYYY to bloody boring.

Allow about 6-8hours if going by bus When I went, it was about 4hours from Patong to Surat Thani, then we had to wait for another bus to take us to the ferry port. More waiting for the ferry to arrive, which is then unloaded and loaded, the trip across to the island, then however long it takes you to find a taxi and get to your accommodaton on Koh Samui
Good luck

Wow thanks!! I didn't think I would get a response that fast. I will make a note of it. Bangkok Air, but that does mean that I will have to travel back to Bangkok from Phuket? Or can I just take a ferry from Phuket over to Koh Samaui? I do not want keep flying back and forth. Because I believe Koh Samaui is just off Phuket, no? Any recommendations for the NICEST Hotels out there? Thanks again guys!! I know there are probably tons of information on this board, if I just performed a search, but if you guys have spare time on your hands and want to help me out. Please do so, I greatly appreciate it.

You can, but bear in mind the time it takes to travel to Phuket from Koh Samui, as per my previous message (above).

No, Phuket is off the west coast of Thailand and Koh Samui is off the east coast of Thailand, this also means it's not feasible to do the trip by boat, as you would have to go all the way down to the bottom of Malaysia and back up up again.
