Do looks matter ??
I will be nearly 19 when i go to Phuket and Thailand in Jan 06, and im wondering how much looks actually matter with girls there. Does the better you look, mean the better looking girls you get ?? Also, when im in Bangkok, i have a mate who lives there (hes thai) who will show me around, i got nfi what he means by this but he told me to save up, and he would show me a great time
 The only problem is im staying WITH my parents, in the hotel, and if i was with a chick, i would have to like rent out a room somewhere, since i dont really want to be seen by parents ****ing in the same room they sleep in  How to Thai people relate to Australians as well ??

IMHO i agree and i may not be the most hansum man, but with any culture a sense of humour also go's a long way. if girls see you havin fun - then they want to be around you. Dubbers

I know a number of bar girls that refuse to go with old men or arab men or fat men or indian men etc. Money is not everything. Also it seems that if you are younger and better looking then often you pay less.
I have a group of friends all living in Phuket and many of then are under 25. They must have a new girl each night and most never pay a dime. However the girls know that they are expats and not tourists.

What about going solo or in pairs??? Is for example one 25 years old guy more/less attractive than two 25 years old guys?? To make my question easier, let's say the looks are the same in both cases... Thanks!

Many reasons.. Not least of which is 'western' finance ability...
The reasons do run a bit deeper than that tho.. There is a general perception that Thai guys butterfly more than farangs in a serious relationship (not so sure about that or the unserious relationships) and also that farangs are more likely to be happy to be involved in child rearing (true I would think) and also to continue to support a child if the relationship ends (which from the stories I see and hear is woefully lacking in Thai guys).. One more factor is Hi-So 'well off' thais are a lot more likely to not be chasing farangs (tho in BKK and major cities even that is changing) its definately a segment of the less well off population looking for security and family financial support that the majority of Thai Girlfriends come from.. Of course there are no absolutes.

Got to agree with Darbs here; a blonde, blue eyed 18yo Aussie will be beating the girls off with a stick!
You may also find that a local will take you to local places and not the usual Nana/Patpong/Cowboy scene, regular Thai girls, students particularly, will break your heart. Have a blast bloke!

But what is good looking, I fully understand that bahts make prizes and that beauty is in the eye of the beerholder, however as a western white european is so different in their facial structure to that of any thai man, do Thai girls actually see us as good looking because of our lighter skin colour which they strive for, for our more open eyes and maybe different colour eyes, our different physique a lot of us are much taller than most thai guys, our manners and respect for women, you have to accept I am generalising. There are many of us that have a preference for a type maybe different from our own. The majority of bm's obviously hanker towards the asian woman but is it really just because of the differences physically, whilst very pleasant I would say that I am more attracted to their character, fun, subservience to a degree maybe better described as their desire to make their man happy.
So my question is although individually classed as moderate or not neccessarily physically hansome to a Europeans eye do you think to a thai girl we possess all that she finds desirable, although possessing only a likeable character to other europeans do you think that because this is so different to a thais character that they find it extremely appealing, am I living in cloud cuckoo land and nope its none of this just the bahts. I also realise this is subject to personal experience but amongst us we must have a broad enough experience. What we consider ugly in europe may be considered okay in thailand, what have LT said with regards to this to you?

Personally, I approached her because she was hot looking. I stayed with her and spent my kids inheritance because she was intelligent, caring and a complete pleasure to be with. The great A** was a bonus.
